As a community of faith, we consider the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults to be a key part of our mission and ministry. As such, we will always respond to any concerns in compliance with UK statute and guidance. Clear policy and procedures are in place and training is provided for all who work directly with children, young people and vulnerable adults in regulated positions (as defined by Disclosure and Barring service). A Safeguarding Team is in place and meets regularly.
If you are concerned … that someone you know is at risk of, or is being abused, or presents a risk to others, please seek advice from a Safeguarding Adviser or if necessary report the matter to the Local Authority Social Care Services or the Police without delay.
