Our main Sunday service takes place at 10.00am and follows the Church of England’s traditional pattern of worship. Parish Communion includes hymns, Bible readings, a sermon, prayers, and Holy Communion, offering a time for shared worship, reflection, and community.

You’ll be warmly greeted by our welcome team and can choose to sit wherever feels most comfortable, whether near the front or in a quieter spot at the back.

Children and families are always welcome. We often have resources or activities available for younger members.
There’s no dress code or expectations, just come as you are. Whether you’re in jeans or your Sunday best, you’ll be made to feel welcome. What matters most is that you’re here
Do I need to book to attend a service?
No booking is required, you’re very welcome to just turn up. If it’s your first time, feel free to introduce yourself to one of our welcomers
How long does the service last?
Our typical service lasts about 60–75 minutes, followed by refreshments and time to chat.
Do you livestream your services?
Yes, we livestream our services on Facebook and Youtube
What should I wear?
There’s no dress code — come as you are. Some people dress smartly, others more casually.
Where can i park?
The church has its own car park, available for use.
Is the church accessible?
Yes, our building has wheelchair access via a chair lift in the left porch. The church also provides accessible car parking and other facilities like a hearing loop, large print service sheets, and an accessible church hall.
How do I arrange a Baptism?
If you’re interested in baptism for yourself or your child, please get in touch with us. We’ll talk through what baptism means, explore the next steps, and help you prepare for the service. Baptisms are a joyful occasion, and we’d be delighted to welcome you.

How do I arrange a church Funeral?
If you wish to arrange a funeral at St Francis, please contact us or ask your funeral director to do so on your behalf. We’ll work with you to plan a service that honours your loved one and offers comfort and hope. Our clergy are here to support you during this difficult time.
